Howle Ave Stormwater Retrofit Project

The City of Charleston (City) is accepting Bid Proposals for construction services for the Howle Avenue Stormwater Retrofit Project. The purpose of this project is to provide storage of stormwater using nature-based design practices. This work will also provide some remediation of previously disposed construction debris in the area of the new pond basin. The Work will include but is not limited to: installation of sediment and erosion control, limited demolition of existing utilities, clearing and grubbing, excavation and haul-off of excavated material, fine grading of stormwater features and pedestrian pathway, installation of pedestrian culvert crossings, and installation of landscaping, as shown in the Drawings.
