Description

HVAC replacemet in accordance with the Attached SOW, to include:



a. Determine heat load calculations for the HVAC system using installed ducting system. Use heat load calculations to determine an appropriate size/capacity for indoor and outdoor units utilizing installed ducting. Provide owner with a written copy of load calculations. If it is determined that any duct work needs to be modified, changed or resized in any way due to the heat load calculations, contractor shall provide and install. New unit shall be EPA approved A2L based refrigerant either R-454B or R-32, preferably R-454B. Contractor shall pull and entire new line-set to include new suction lines and liquid lines that run from heat pump to air handler. Contractor shall install a new liquid line drier for each circuit and locate the new liquid line drier indoors near the air handler to prevent unnecessary corrosion from outside elements.



b. Remove and dispose of the current outdoor and indoor units. Unit will not have refrigerant in it.



c. Replace wiring and conduit from existing service disconnects to new pieces of equipment. Replace any corroded or damaged conduit or wiring found during the demo of existing equipment. If disconnects are not fused, then contractor shall replace any and all associated disconnects with new fused ones.



d. Replace all thermostat control wiring inside and outside with new UV rated wire. Provide and replace existing thermostat to match the system function.
