Software License and Hosting - Cashless Systems Inc

Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), in partnership with Minnesota Department of Corrections, intends to renew their license and hosting services with Cashless Systems Inc., for up to 36 months, for the use of Cactus Software Commissary Software. Cactus Software Commissary Software is a point of sale software that performs the accounting and finance functions behind the operation of the commissary’s in each state prison, it also allows for the secure maintenance of a spend accounts.

MNIT and MN Department of Corrections has determined that this procurement is a single source purchase because Cactus Software Commissary Software proprietary and exclusively licensed through Cashless Systems Inc. The State believes these services are not available through third-party entities deeming this a sole source purchase.
