ADDENDUM NO. 1
Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the bid and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and
effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified bid date, shall conform with the
additions, deletions and revisions listed as herein.
ITEM #1
QUESTIONS/ANSWERS:
Q1: Please advise how many employees are served under this contract.
A1: Currently, up to 350. Please note that this contract is not to purchase new boots for all employees. We
have 310 employees who already have boots. Over the next year, we anticipate adding approximately
40 employees who will need boots.
Q2: Please provide the total expenditures for the current contract over the past three years.
A2: The County cannot provide the exact figures for the ‘Boots’ portion since this was bid previously under
the Bunker Gear and Accessories – Annual Contract.
Q3: Please confirm that no price adjustments are permitted during the initial term or renewal periods.
A3: No, the County does not allow for any price adjustments.
Q4: We are doing business in Miami Dade. Can we participate to this bid.
A4: Yes, the County will accept bids from any vendor meeting or exceeding the criteria specified in the bid.
Q5: Do you place a limit (quantity or in dollars) for individual orders for your employees?
A5: Yes, one pair currently.
Q6: How many pairs of shoes are issued to each employee within a 12-month period?
A6: Each employee receives one pair of firefighting boots until the product shelf life expires or needs to be
replaced.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260302.
Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
