The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is searching for vendors with the capabilities to move and store a mobile MRI trailer for three days, along with the relocation of concrete barriers before and after the movement of the trailer, located at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL.

The contractor shall provide the following services:

Moving Mobile imaging trailer out. Contractor will perform the following activities.
Put all scanning equipment away
Install table securement brackets
Power down the system.
Unplug power
Pack up trailer
Supply power to the unit while it is in storage
Concrete barriers
Contractor must have equipment that has the capacity to move Illinoi F-shape concrete barriers to clear a path for a mobile sterilization trailer exchange.
After mobile sterilization trailer is exchanged, contractor is to move concrete barriers around the unit for protection. Work with COR to establish location and proximity of barriers.
Moving Mobile imaging trailer in. Contractor will perform the following activities.
Unpack trailer
Reconnect power
Power system up
Remove table securement brackets
Bring out all scanning equipment

All interested, responsible sources must submit a capability statement by Thursday, July 24, 2025, by 12pm Central, to steven.macdonald@va.gov to include the following:

Company Experience in providing services to referenced equipment, to include number of years and any examples contracts with government or commercial entities;
Verification of authorization and training related to servicing referenced equipment;
Number of qualified maintenance personnel employed;
DUNS number, organization name, organization address, point of contact, business size under NAICS 484220, and socioeconomic status;
