Notice of Intent to Sole Source - ASTi SERA

THIS REQUIREMENT IS ADVERTISED AS SOLE SOURCE. THE NOTICE IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received.

This is NOT a solicitation for proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government. However, all interested sources who can refute these findings with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide SERA should respond via e-mail to the 502d Contracting Office, NLT 10:00AM CDT, 03 January 2025 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The 502d Contracting Squadron announces its intention to procure, on a Sole Source (SS) basis to Advanced Simulation Technology inc. (ASTi), 500A Huntmar Park Drive Herndon VA 20170, for the purchase of Simulated Environment for Realistic Air Traffic Control (SERA).

The contractor shall provide: SERA Software and IA Maintenance Renewal

PoP: 08 January 2025 through 07 January 2026.

This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 513210, and PSC Code 7A21.
