The Township of Cherry Hill (hereinafter the “Township”) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in performing the duties and functions for the Township Appraiser and intends to award a professional service contract to one (1) or more Appraiser firms for the defined scope of work in accordance
with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5 Exemptions – Professional Services. Services include those listed in the Project Specifications.

After registering, you may download documents from bottom left side of page. Registered vendors will receive any/all addenda/clarifications, etc., if issued. It is imperative that all registration information be entered correctly to ensure any/all addenda will be received.

Qualifications:
|
|
Applicants should demonstrate experience and knowledge of the field of appraisal, particularly as it relates to municipal tax appeals and condemnation issues.
|
|
Special Requirements:
|
|
1. Applicants must hold a General Certifications License issued by the New Jersey State Real Estate Board. Said license(s) must be active and have no violations attached to it. Please include license(s) with submission.
2. Must have a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience appraising real property within the County of Camden. Please list experience on separate sheet(s).
3. Must have a minimum five (5) years’ experience in the representation of municipalities in matters before the County Board of Taxation and the New Jersey Tax Court for ad valorem tax matters and the Superior Court for condemnation proceedings and must have demonstrable experience as an appraiser establishing values for the purpose of condemnation matters on behalf of municipal entities.

The applicant/proposer shall submit one (1) original with original signatures marked “ORIGINAL” and one (1) complete and exact copy of the original marked “COPY” of his/her proposal and should submit an electronic copy on a flash drive.
