Description:

|
For the purposes of safeguarding the CCUC’s Sub-Surface Facilities from excavation damage, Contractor will receive and respond as required, to all excavation notices, directed to CCUC, in accordance with the North Carolina Underground Damage Prevention Act. Contractor shall provide such markings and protection as may be required. Such protection shall include painting, flagging or staking the horizontal location of CCUC underground faculties in accordance with current marking standards of the American Public Works Association Uniform Color Code.

The City of Winston-Salem is seeking proposals for the scope of work herein described. Pursuant to bidding
policy, sealed proposals endorsed “Underground Facility Locating Services– RFP 26146” will be received
until the time listed above by the City/County Purchasing Department in Suite 324, City Hall Building,
101 North Main Street, Winston-Salem, NC. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
