Description

The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) intends to solicit and award a Purchase Order to Point Security, Inc, PO Box 100, Linwood, NC 27299, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.



The EOUSA anticipates award of a contract, on a sole source basis, to Point Security to provide a Smiths Detection HI-SCAN6040i, compact X-Ray screening system, CEIA HIPE/PZ-PLUS-0989 Walk Through Metal Detector, and CEIA PD240 Handheld Metal Detector for use in the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO), Fayetteville, AR. The HI-SCAN6040i shall have the standard features: Hi-SPOT – Auto Dense Area Detection, HiTraX- Image Enhancement Functions and a 24” Flat Panel Monitor. The HI-SCAN6040i shall also include the following Options: .5-meter Exit Roller, and Advanced Software Package – HI-TIP-Plus, OTS Xtrain, IMS, Opti-ZOOM, HDA, X-Plore, X-ACT. Upon delivery of the unit, Point Security shall uncrate, inspect for damage, move to the screening location, and dispose all packing material. Installation of the unit shall be in its final position for operation and all accessories attached. Point Security will conduct standard calibration and certification of the unit and provide a copy of the paperwork to the USAO POC. Point Security will provide training on the proper operation and usage to FPS Security Officers assigned at time of delivery and additional USAO representatives as may be available.



The period of performance is anticipated to be September 30, 2025 – January 1, 2026.



This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. A Request for Quote will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this solicitation is for informational purposes only. However, any information received within five days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information in response to this notice may be sent to Maynard Minor, Contracting Officer at Maynard.Minor@usdoj.gov A determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
