Preventative Maintenance for Siemens HVAC Equipment for White Earth Clinic

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Bemidji Area intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced Contract on a sole source basis to G&R Controls, for the White Earth Health Center in Ogema MN. The anticipated period of performance will be for a base plus 2 option years.

The sole source action will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a) - only one source reasonably available. G & R Controls is the only authorized dealer in Minnesota that can sell Siemens products to, or service Siemens products for, White Earth Health Center. Their employees are factory trained and fully supported by Siemens. G & R Controls has the expertise to design, install, and service APOGEE building automation systems, which will help keep the facility energy efficient and comfortable and SiPass Integrated to control access to the facility. Siemens provides G & R Controls with the means to develop solutions which are designed to help meet the needs of staff, patients, and guests.
