Fire Station Thermostat Replacement

All prices submitted are to be on the form below in accordance with all terms and conditions set forth in this Request for Quotation. Prices quoted should be in unit of measure shown.
Any award resulting from this RFQ will be made to the responsive, responsible vendor which offers the lowest price on an aggregate basis. If award is noted to be made on an aggregate basis, any vendor response that fails to include pricing for all items may be rejected.

Per Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, the County will not request documentation of or consider a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.

Prices shall be quoted F.O.B. Destination – inside delivery, freight included and shall be inclusive of all costs. Current and/or anticipated applicable fuel costs should be considered and included in the price quoted.

Delivery of items is to be within 45 days after any purchase order is issued.

Background Check Requirement

Under any County contract that involves vendor or subcontractor personnel working in proximity to minors, the vendor hereby confirms that any personnel so employed will have successfully completed an initial, and subsequent annual, Certified Background Check, completed by the vendor at no additional cost to the County. The County retains the right to request and review any associated records with or without cause, and to require replacement of any vendor employee found in violation of this requirement. Vendor shall indemnify the County in full for any adverse act of any such personnel in this regard. Additional requirements may apply in this regard as included within any specific contract award.

OFFICE OF FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SCOPE OF SERVICES
Project Name: Fire Station Thermostat Replacement

Unless otherwise noted, the Contractor shall provide all required labor, material, equipment, plans, engineering,
surveys, permitting, and local and state inspections to provide 100% turnkey project. Change orders shall not be
issued for incidental items or tasks that should have been reasonably construed to be part of the project by the
Contractor.
1. PURPOSE
A. The purpose of this solicitation is to select a Contractor to furnish, program, and install
NetworkThermostat touchscreen ethernet programmable thermostats at Lake County Fire Station
facilities, and to provide all associated factory configuration and network programming services, as
further described in the Scope of Work below.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
a. Furnish and install fifty-four (54) NetworkThermostat X7-IP-W touchscreen, ethernet-connected,
programmable thermostats (white surround) at the designated Lake County Fire Station facilities.
Units shall be compatible with Gas, Electric, Oil, and Heat Pump systems (up to 3 Heat/2 Cool)
and shall include humidity control, indoor air quality (IAQ) control, fresh air damper control,
advanced remote sensor bus, two (2) digital inputs, occupancy sensor input, integrated web server,
and email/text alerting and event scheduling capability.
b. Remove existing thermostats/controls being replaced at each Fire Station location. The existing
thermostats will be turned into the County's Facilities Project Manager.
c. Perform one-time factory configuration of the County's network parameters (network controller
IP addresses, thermostat IP addresses, and related settings) to prepare all NetX system components
for integration with the County's network.
d. Perform configuration programming for each of the fifty-four (54) thermostats to integrate each
unit with the County's network.
e. Test all installed thermostats for proper communication, connectivity, and operation prior to
project closeout, and correct any deficiencies at no additional cost to the County.
f. Coordinate scheduling and site access with the County's Facilities Management Project Manager
for each Fire Station location prior to mobilization.
g. Provide all labor, material, equipment, freight, and incidental items necessary for a complete and
functional turnkey installation in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable
codes.
