To address the impacts of climate change and be responsive to community experiences with climate hazards and vulnerabilities, the City of Buffalo is undertaking a community planning initiative that considers how these systems work to support or hinder the overall sustainability and resilience of the city. The purpose of this project is to clearly articulate a vision for community resilience in Buffalo that centers resident voices and experiences through a comprehensive greenhouse gas emissions inventory and preparation of a community climate action, adaptation, and resilience plan. The City of Buffalo is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking planning-level professional services from qualified consulting firms to complete the requested planning, engagement, collective impact, and technical assistance work outlined.
