Sealed proposals for performing the work herein described will be received at the office of the Village Administrator, Village Hall, 85 Main Street, Irvington, NY 10533, until April 2, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Court Room in Village Hall at 85 Main Street, Irvington, NY.
The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to install a stage in Matthiessen Park in the Village of Irvington. Contract Documents may be obtained from the office of the Village Administrator or from the Village website at

All bidders are subject to the terms of the State of New York Contract for Grants -- Standard Terms and Conditions, which can be found online at

Bids shall be made on the Proposal Forms furnished with the Specifications and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond acceptable to the Village or a certified cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Checks shall be made payable to the Village of Irvington, NY and are to be held by the Village as a guarantee for the proper execution and delivery of the Contract and bonds to secure the faithful performance thereof. In default of such execution and delivery of Contract and Bonds, the amount of the deposit represented by the check shall be forfeited to and retained by the Village of Irvington as liquidated damages.
All bidders are subject to the terms of the State of New York Contract for Grants Appendix A (Standard Clauses For New York State Contracts), Attachment A-1 (Agency Specific Terms and Conditions) and Attachment A-2 (Program Specific Terms and Conditions).
Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder, addressed to the Village of Irvington, Office of the Village Administrator, 85 Main Street, Irvington, NY and endorsed “Matthiessen Park Stage”. Contractor / Bidder is required to submit a sealed bid envelope and a sealed second envelope in the sealed bid naming each subcontractor and the amount to be paid to each per WICKS reform 2008.
The Village of Irvington reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality in any Bid, and to award the Contract to other than the lowest Bidder if deemed in the best interest of the Village to do so.
