Description: The City, as Contractor for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), is seeking proposals from qualified Engineering Consultants (Engineer) to perform GIS mapping services for the City’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) in compliance with the DEC MS4 permit. The objective will be to build a GIS-based inventory of the City’s MS4. This project will allow the City to better respond to elicit discharge and flooding reports as well as mitigate adverse effects of stormwater runoff. The City has completed preliminary GIS mapping of the MS4. A copy of the City’s MS4 Comprehensive Mapping Worksheet is attached to this RFP as Attachment 1 to better illustrate the level of mapping completed and the mapping that will need to be completed by consequence of this project. This project is a priority since the City borders and contains various waterbodies, including Hempstead Harbor, Glen Cove Creek, and Dosoris Pond, which are 303(d)-listed impaired waterbodies Due Date: 10/24/2025Contract Term: 1 year Location: Glen Cove, NY Ad Type: General
