Telehealth Mental Health Services
Description:
Buffalo State University intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law ยง355 (5) (a), for the noted commodity/product or service. A sealed bid will not be held. If you are interested in providing a proposal for the commodity/product or service, you must contact the appropriately designated Campus contact in this advertisement within 15 business days of this Advertisement Notice.
The University is currently utilizing telehealth services that provide the below:

Provide an online platform that enables students to schedule and participate in teletherapy sessions with independent licensed mental health clinicians. In exchange for the payment of the Services Fee (as defined below), the Institution will receive access to, and the services necessary to facilitate, a specified number of teletherapy sessions

Complies with all applicable data privacy laws, including applicable state and federal laws related to healthcare and education data security and privacy.

All teletherapy sessions will be provided via the internet. Students will register and login on a secure website portal and will then be presented with the contact information and upcoming availability for those Counselors who are eligible to provide the teletherapy sessions and are licensed to work in the state in which the student is located

Wellbeing Workshops hosted by Counselors each month on their platform via a 60 minute group workshop for a range of topics
