Southwest Quadrant Regional Force Main

The Town of La Plata (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Southwest Quadrant Regional Force Main

McCrone Project C1200005 | Town Bid No. RFB-27-001

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the La Plata Town Hall located at 305 Queen Anne Street, La Plata, MD 20646, until Monday, October 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

Installation of approximately 4,229 LF of 10" HDPE DR 11 force main, along with any valves and fittings, two (2) ARV vaults and one (1) blow-off vault. The method of installation for approximately 1,849 LF of the force main, from Station 23+80.57 to Station 42+29.1, will be required to be directional drilling. The installation of the force main will also require connecting the force main to an existing 8” force main at Station 0+00 and to an existing manhole.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Wills Memorial Park Building, 505 St Marys Ave, La Plata, MD 20646. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
