Description

The 20 Security Forces Squadron is replacing the current Honeywell Vindicator Intrusion Detection System (IDS) in Bldg. 825, 1843, and 1865 Armory’s. The Panels (two AES-1500’s and one ACS V5) need to be replaced with upgraded devices with Windows 10/VR 22 firmware. All sensors/keypads/duress buttons need to be upgraded to the newest approved device as specified in the Non-Nuclear Configuration Management Database Equipment Approval letter from AFSFC/FP (CMD) and must have tampers on the individual devices and the tamper programmed as an alarm point. All alarm points will be a single alarm point with no daisy chaining of alarms. These upgraded systems will need to be integrated into the current Security Forces Head end IDS system that reports to Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) and the Alt BDOC. All Network/IDS cabling will need to be replaced and run in conduit (if not already), and all Junction Boxes or Splice Points will need to have a tamper and alarm.
