10:00 AM (local time) on the posted date of the bid.

for the purpose of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment and the performance of all work required in the construction of

If submitting by U.S. Mail, your proposal must be in the City Office prior to the required submittal time and date. Mail to: City Secretary, City of Roanoke, 500 S. Oak Street, Roanoke, Texas 76262. The City is not responsible for guarantee of submittal time. Clearly mark proposals as “SEALED PROPOSAL”, directed to the attention of “City Secretary”. Sealed proposals will be opened and read privately, and the results will be posted publicly seven days after the receipt of proposals. Bids must be publicly opened and read on bid opening date.

The major work for this project shall consist of the following:

Median Improvements consisting of Landscaping and Irrigation; with an estimated construction cost of $606,000. The estimated date for start of construction is October 4, 2026.

FEDERAL–AID requirements apply to this project.

PRE-QUALIFICATION by Texas Department of Transportation is required.

SPECIFICATIONS and contract documents may be examined or acquired electronically by Bidders through the Civcast website at http://civcastusa.com . Civcast is free to all Bidders to view or download plans and documents, however if the contractor requests a printed plan set, there will be a cost. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, the City of Roanoke reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after date on which bids are opened.
