The Town of Lenox, acting through its Department of Public Works, invites sealed bids from contractors approved by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation for the Lenox Water Main Replacement & Related Work project. The work to be performed includes replacement of existing 6 AC water main with 12 Class 52 DICL water main and replacement of all service and hydrant connections. Work also includes temporary water service, replacement of existing drainage culvert, addition of new culvert, HMA trench and berm repair, granite curb resetting and waterways. Existing AC pipe will be encountered during the work.
