Renewable Heating Project: Seeking highly qualified contractor to both design and install a renewable, wood heating system compliant with CMR 16.00: the Alternative Portfolio Standard to be located at the town's fire's station. Included in the project shall be the dismantling and responsible disposal of both existing distillate boilers. The proposed system may utilize the building's existing chimney and shall include external storage with the capacity to support the building's heating load for not less than two months. Qualifying bidders must have installed a minimum of five similar heating systems in the Commonwealth within the past three years.
