INVITATION FOR BIDS
Please be advised, the City of Bridgeton, Missouri will receive sealed bids for the
Right-of-Way Mowing Services
– Areas #3 & #4 until 2:00 p.m. (Central Time) on THURSDAY, February 26, 2026 (“Closing Time”) at the Bridgeton Government Center, 12355 Natural Bridge Road, Bridgeton, Missouri 63044, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Project
consists of, but is not limited to, mowing, trimming, litter removal, weeding, fertilization, and other landscape-management services on public property within the City of Bridgeton, as detailed more specifically in the project technical specifications.
This work will be at two locations which are identified below and are more specifically defined in the Project Manual:

I-70 and St. Charles Rock Rd (Area #3)

North Lindbergh Boulevard and Whitehall Manor Dr (Area #4)
Contractor will be responsible to obtain all MoDOT permits and approvals for the above scope of work. Contractor must follow all MoDOT permit and work zone requirements.
The City reserves the right to award separate contracts for each part listed above, to award one contract for all parts, or to award contract(s) for any combination of these parts. Furthermore, the City reserves the right to revise the project scope to match the City’s maintenance needs. All Bidders must have and demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years of contractual grounds-maintenance experience of a commercial or institutional nature.

Bidders will not be required to provide a Bid Bond with their Bid for this Work
Not less than the prevailing hourly rates of wages as found by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri, or determined by court on appeal, shall be paid to all workmen performing work under this Contract and Contractor will indemnify and hold the City harmless, therefore.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive all informalities in Bids or waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days, subsequent to the specified time for receipt of Bids. No low bidder shall have a business expectancy merely because his bid is the lowest one received; until the contract has been awarded, no business expectancy exists. Bids may be withdrawn solely for demonstrated and verifiable clerical or typographical mistake, but not mistake of judgment. Bids will be considered unresponsive if they contain any material defect or deviation. The City reserves the right and sole discretion to reject any and all bids.
