Description
Traffic Signal Operations and Technology Improvements. The scope of this project is to install flashing yellow arrows and replace existing detection with radar detection at one hundred (100) intersections within DeKalb County. The project will include identifying all equipment necessary to install flashing yellow arrows, including the need for auxiliary racks. The project will upgrade any older pedestrian signals with countdown pedestrian signals, as needed. The project will also include replacing/installing retroreflective backplates at all locations. The field inventory will include documenting communication needs/upgrades.
