5792 Repair and Restoration of the Historic Stone Bridge at Ward Acres Park

The City of New Rochelle Department of Parks & Recreation (hereinafter referred to as "the City") is soliciting bids from qualified and experienced contractors (hereinafter referred to as "the Contractor") to perform immediate repair and restoration work on the historic Stone Bridge located within Ward Acres Park in New Rochelle, New York. This bridge is a vital component of the heavily utilized Ward Acres Trail System and is situated on the Pinebrook Blvd side of the park trails.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Walk-Through

Due to the unique nature of this repair project and the importance of understanding the existing conditions, attendance at a mandatory pre-bid site walk-through is required for any Contractor wishing to submit a bid.  May 12, 2025 at 11am. We will meet at the corner of Tulip lane and Pinebrook Blvd New Rochelle NY 10804.

Questions must be submitted by 2:00pm May 14 ^th 2025 and answers will be posted to the “Citys” website sit by 4:30pm May 22, 2025
