The endorsed "Proposal" for the 2026 Mill and Overlay Project will be received by the Parkville Special Road District until the above time, at the office of the Parkville Special Road District. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at 3:00 P.M.

A pre-bid meeting will not be held for this project. Any questions shall be directed to the Road District Engineer, Vincent Zink at vzink@ric-consult.com . Questions shall be submitted via email by 5:00 pm on February 20, 2026 . Questions submitted after this deadline will not be considered.

The proposed work includes:

Cold milling and paving of approximately 6400 tons of asphalt pavement at various locations throughout the road district. Improvements include cold milling, paving, base repair, concrete curb repair, and striping.

The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in the bid proposal. When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, this contract is subject to the "Work Hours Act of 1962," (P.L. 87-581; 76 Stat. 357) and implementing regulations.

Parkville Special Road District hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
