Separate sealed Bids for the construction of SPG - Water System Improvements (ARPA) - System Standpipe Rehabilitations will be received, by SPG Water Association, Inc., Searcy County,
Arkansas, until 11:00 a.m. local time on April 2, 2026, and then at the office of the SPG Water Association, Inc., 415 Hwy 65, Saint Joe, AR 72675, publicly opened and read aloud.
The project will encompass the rehabilitation of two standpipes. Tank 1 holds 67,500 gallons and is located northwest of St. Joe, AR on Hwy 65. Tank 2 holds 50,000 gallons and is located south of Western Grove, AR, west of the Mt. Hershey Rd. and Chinquapin Rd. intersection. The project consists of the following:
• Sandblast and paint interior and exterior of existing standpipes.
• Furnish and install a passive mixing system on pipe inlet.
• Furnish and install a SCADA system.
• Replace or extend overflow pipe and install splash pad.
• Sampling and sanitation station improvements.
• Installation of a second manway.
• Roof vent and hatch seal repair and replacement.
Information for Bidders, Bid Forms, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, Bid Bond Form, Performance and Payment Bond Forms, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the Engineer. Printed copies may be obtained at the office of Engineering Services, Inc., 1207 South Old Missouri Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72765, Phone 479-751-8733, upon a non-refundable payment of One Hundred Fifty dollars ($150.00) for each set. Digital copies may be obtained through QuestCDN or through www.engineeringservices.com upon a nonrefundable payment of forty dollars ($40.00).
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount for and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
