Solicitation Document Description: This RFSQ is an invitation to qualify the four (4) highest scoring Respondents to enter onto a Prequalified Vendor list for the provision of Design Services, including a Memorial and Landscape Architecture services for the new monument in Olive Square Park (5575 Yonge St.). The Respondent teams must demonstrate exemplary experience in the design and construction of memorials and park landscapes which emphasize design excellence. Respondents must also demonstrate a commitment to delivering completed projects in an efficient manner and schedule.

The deliverables will be further described in Stage Two of the design competition (RFP). At minimum, the Supplier team will be required to provide full professional and technical services for the design and construction of the new park, including:
1.        Background Review, Site Investigations and Analysis

2.        Participate and contribute to a Community Engagement that has been prepared by the Engagement Unit. The engagement includes public meetings, online surveys, stakeholder meetings. Your role will be to review documents, prepare materials and present at or facilitate meetings.

3.        Prepare Concept Plans, Diagrams, Perspectives for the memorial, and as much of the park, and the Yonge St. frontage as budget allows.

4.        Detailed Design Development

5.        Contract Documentation

6.        Bidding and Tender Administration

7.        Construction Contract Administration

8.        Project Close Out and Warranty Administration
