ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 611 Wilson Avenue,
Suite #1, Pocatello, Idaho 83201 until 11:00 a.m. local time, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 for DPW
Project 24220, ISU: Physical Science Basement Remodel.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include interior renovations to a portion of the
basement level of the Physical Science Building. The Work includes selective demolition and construction
to provide new general laboratory, office, and workshop spaces. Improvements include new interior
finishes, casework, and upgrades to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and data systems. The project also
includes the installation of a new metal stair assembly. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the
Contract Documents and all applicable codes and regulations, with careful coordination to minimize
disruption to adjacent occupied areas.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m.,
prevailing local time, at the Physical Science Building, 785 South 8th Ave, Pocatello, Idaho 83209.
Bidders are encouraged to attend.
One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and
electrical subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $500.00. Others may
obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
