Qualifications:

Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or draft in the amount of five percent (5%) or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the TOTAL BID in manner and form as by law provided. The sum of a certified check, cashier’s check or draft or bid bond is a guarantee that, if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance

Miscellaneous:

The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days after the date bids are received and no bid may be withdrawn during this period. The Board also reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
