Description

This is an official Request for Quote (RFQ) Notice (FA462526Q1045).



The U.S. Air Force 509th Contracting Squadron at Whiteman AFB is posting this solicitation, Request for Quote (RFQ), for purchase of a Wollard MB-2 Aircraft Tow Tractor Rear Steer Axle Assembly that meets the specifications of the attached Salient Characteristics dated 25 September 2025.



DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:



A complete NAF Neunkirchener replacement rear steer drive axle Wollard part number 47325 for a 400MB2 model. Included with planetary geared hubs, king pins, proximity switches, steering cylinders and trunnion that fits a model M400. Twenty (20) 22x1.5mm wheel studs to mount wheels on vehicle. One (1) 1/16 trunnion model # M400 to connect the driveshaft to axle. Five (5) wire connectors to operate the Proximity switches.



DELIVERABLES:

The contractor shall deliver 120 days after receipt of the order. Delivery will be to Whiteman AFB, MO 65305.
