Solicitation Description:

Proposals for the above projectwill only be accepted from Contractors when submitted to the Texas Parks andWildlife Department using the online Bid Portal hosted by eBuilder. Proposalswill be accepted by the Contracting Branch, Infrastructure Division until 2:00 PMCST, January 25, 2025, at which time the Proposals will be opened and read.

A virtual public bid opening ofresponses will be conducted by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department via MicrosoftTeams. Interested attendees must register in advance forthis meeting. Click on the link below to register for the bid opening. Afterregistering, participants will receive a confirmation email containinginformation about joining the meeting.

Offerors are encouraged to log intothe bid portal and submit a draft response at least 24 hrs. prior to bidopening. Bids can be withdrawn and resubmitted until the bid opening time shownabove.

We strongly recommend that you giveyourself sufficient time and at least ONE (1) day before the bid openingtime to begin the uploading process and finalize your submission.

General Scope of Work:

Projectscope includes all labor, equipment, tools, materials, and incidentalsnecessary, but not limited to the following:

· replace theexisting fishing pier;

· repair andreplace concrete walks;

· installshoreline riprap;

· lighting and power, and

· regradeaccessible parking spaces.

Construction Cost Estimate: $2,075,760.00 to $2,185,010.00

Project Schedule:

All work shall be completed within threehundred sixty (360) calendar days commencing on the date specified in theNotice to Proceed. This performanceperiod includes completing the various aspects required to complete the Work,including submission of all Submittals, mobilization, procurement,installation, testing, inspection and delivery of documents described in theUniform General Conditions, Article 12, 12.1.1.1.

All proposals must be submitted onthe forms furnished for that purpose, and each proposal must be accompanied bybid bond made payable to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, in an amountof not less than (5) percent of the total bid amount. A photocopy of the bidbond may be uploaded through the Bid Portal; however, the physical copy must bereceived by TPWD at its headquarters location by 12:00 pm (noon) of the secondbusiness day following the bid submittal deadline.

The Texas Parks and WildlifeDepartment will host a virtual pre-proposal conference at 10:30 AM CST, November15, 2024

Although the pre-proposalconference is not mandatory, Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend asimportant information regarding proposal submittal requirements and an overviewof the Project will be discussed. Failureto give proper consideration to conditions when preparing the proposal will notconstitute grounds for additional compensation.
