Description
Background:
The VA New Jersey Health Care System (VANJHCS) is seeking moving, relocation, offsite storage, and transportation services to support ongoing facility moves within its network. These services are required to facilitate the relocation of hospital and clinic furnishings, equipment, and related items between various VANJHCS campuses, leased spaces, and other off-campus locations.
The goal is to provide efficient and reliable complete moving services for VANJHCS personnel as they manage ongoing changes in facility layouts, upgrades, and relocations.
Objective:
The objective of this requirement is to obtain a Contractor who can provide a comprehensive range of moving, storage, and transportation services, including disassembly, reassembly, repair, and removal of furniture, furnishings, and minor equipment. The contractor shall be responsible for transporting and installing these items at new locations or into secure storage areas as directed by VANJHCS personnel. The contractor must be capable of performing these services with flexibility, as the frequency and scope of moves will vary, and there will be no guarantees regarding the number of moves required. Additionally, the Contractor must have a strong understanding of handling commercial healthcare furnishings and medical equipment, as well as ensuring that temporary storage spaces, when needed, meet VA s requirements for security and accessibility.
All interested Contractors must read all the documents in its entirety found in the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation and ensure they follow instructions.
Questions are due no later than Wednesday, March 05, 2025, by 14:00 PM EST.
Complete package due no later than Friday, March 07, 2025, by 14:00 PM EST.
