Could you please confirm if this is VHA-approved training? If not, could you provide the correct training for this solicitation? We ll make sure to get it completed over the weekend.
The Government will be providing the training.
5. Our primary question is the Scope of Work states the contractor shall provide courier services for two complete roundtrips per day(highlighted in yellow below). However, the definition of the Second Round Trip indicates a Third Round trip is required each day to Deliver sterile instruments back to Garland and Bonham by PM(highlighted in orange below)? If this was not a question submitted, please provide an answer as clarity here is critical to our providing the VA with an accurate bid.
"The contractor shall provide courier services for two complete roundtrips per day. Beginning and ending at the same Facility, after the one stop, as follows:
First Round-Trip: When the courier originates in Dallas:
1. Pick up sterile instruments in DALLAS in the AM (Between 7:30-8:00)
2. Deliver to Garland and Bonham. Pick up unsterile instruments.
3. Deliver unsterile instruments to DALLAS by NOON.
The contractor shall ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely manner, in accordance with the contract.
Second Round-Trip: When the courier originates in Garland:
1. Pick up unsterile instruments in Garland in the PM (No later than 4:30)
2. Pick up unsterile instruments in Bonham in the PM (Between 5:00-5:30)
3. Deliver unsterile instruments to DALLAS. Pick up sterile instruments from previous delivery.
4. Deliver sterile instruments to Garland and Bonham by PM."
Answer: It is only two complete round trips. Where you start in the first-round trip, is also where you end, that makes it a complete round trip. For example, starting in Dallas, will end in Dallas. For the second round trip, start in Garland will end in Garland, which will make that a complete round trip.
