for Engineering and Grant Administration Professional Services

The City of Thornton, Arkansas is applying for an Arkansas Community and Economic Development Program (ACEDP) grant from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission to make improvements to the water and/or wastewater system.
The City of Thornton, Arkansas is interested in acquiring the services of an Engineering Firm and a Grant Administration Firm or individual to provide services for the above referenced project for the application process and project contingent upon award.
Procedures for selecting an individual/firm will be in accordance with ACEDP procurement requirements. All responses will be evaluated in terms of specialized experience and technical competence; performance; capacity and capability of the firm/individual to perform work; and proximity to and familiarity with the project area. Negotiations will begin with the respondent obtaining the highest total score in the evaluation process.

All interested parties must submit their response no later than Tuesday, May 5, 2026, by 2:00 p.m. Statements received after that time will not be considered. The City reserves the right to reject Statements of Qualifications and to waive any or all formalities deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
