2025 Kyle Park Pickleball Court Project

Sealed bids for the City of Tipp City’s 2025 Kyle Park Pickleball Court Project will be received at the Government Center, City of Tipp City, 260 S. Garber Drive, Tipp City, Ohio 45371 until 2:00 p.m. on March 18, 2025 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Council Chambers.

The work for which these bids are invited consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials for the demolishment of existing infrastructure (skate park & basketball court) and construction of eight (8) new Pickleball Courts in Kyle Park. The owner intends and requires that all work must be completed no later than August 31, 2025. Materials and workmanship shall conform to the USA Pickleball Associations construction and materials specifications. Proposals must include all items.

The estimated cost of construction for the work outlined in the plans and specifications is $350,000. Copies of plans and specification are available for review on or after February 19, 2025. Plans may be obtained from the City web site at https://www.tippcityohio.gov/Bids.aspx . Bid packages will not be printed or mailed.

All bids shall be signed and include a guaranty that the successful bidder will enter into a contract with the City. A bidder shall secure a bid bond in the amount of 100 % of the bid. In lieu of a bid bond, the City will also accept a certified check, or a bank cashier’s check, drawn on a solvent bank, payable to the City of Tipp City, Ohio in the amount of 10% of bid, as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into with the bidder. The guaranty is subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. All bidders shall include a copy of the bidder’s Workers Compensation Certificate and Certificate of Liability Insurance.

The City of Tipp City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids, and to accept any bid which is deemed by the City to be in their best interest. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the day of the Bid opening, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid Security prior to the end of this period.
