Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District (CESAM) intends to extend contract no. W9127820C0024 to continue the lease of a modular facility at Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, due to construction delays as part of the Hurricane Michael recovery effort. The contractor is Reasor Building Group, LLC, 17 West Maxwell Street, Pensacola, FL 32501. The contract was awarded competitively under the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development (BD) Program. The Government intends to extend the contract to continue the lease of the current facility to the owner of the building so the current tenant will not have to be removed and displaced until a contract can be awarded to another contractor. This will allow the Government to ensure continuity of services for this customer without risking delays to the military construction projects this facility currently supports. The Government will support the proposed action by written justification and obtain appropriate approval prior to proceeding.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement; however, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All capability statements received by 2:00 p.m. CDT on 02 April 2025 will be reviewed by the Government and considered. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Should your firm desire to submit a capability statement, it should demonstrate the Offeror’s experience and expertise to provide the services identified above within the time frame required and without substantial duplication of cost to the Government.

The statement shall include business size, ability to self-perform work, layers of subcontracting, and any other information indicating a legitimate ability to meet this specific requirement. Please do not provide standard marketing brochures or catalogs. Responses will be evaluated based on demonstrated functional capability. Statements should not exceed three (3) pages in length. Responses shall be submitted via email to Ms. Sophia M. Chin, Contract Specialist, at sophia.m.chin@usace.army.mil. In the subject line of your email state: Response to Tyndall AFB. No responses will be accepted by mail or fax. Submittals will not be returned. Telephonic responses will not be honored.
