Summary

Sealed proposals will be received by the Borough of Bergenfield from qualified appraisal firms to provide professional services for the complete revaluation of all real property within the Borough for tax equalization purposes. This revaluation has been ordered by the Bergen County Board of Taxation and approved by the Director of the New Jersey Division of Taxation, with an implementation date of October 1, 2026, and will be effective for the 2027 tax year. The Borough, organized under the Mayor and Council form of government, provides a full range of municipal services and maintains a mix of residential, commercial, educational, and municipal facilities. Bergenfield is committed to the effective delivery of services, the maintenance of public infrastructure, and the responsible stewardship of public resources.
