NOTICE OF INTENT – Bloomberg Finance L.P

This is not a solicitation. This notice is to provide the Government’s intent to sole source an action for the subject requirement. DOE is proposing to award a sole source award for a base period of 12-months and four (4) 12-month option periods. A sole source contract to Bloomberg Finance L.P. for the aforementioned services to support DOE’s Office of Policy (OP) as it requires on-line publications support to cover the a broad spectrum of business, energy and environmental issues.

The Department of Energy (DOE), located at 1000 Independence Avenue SW, Washington, DC - 20585, is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry of the Government's intent to sole- source this contract action using the statutory authority 41 USC 3304(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” The intended contractor is Bloomberg Finance L.P. located at 731 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022.
