APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Financial Services Center (FSC), Records Center & Vault (RCV) requires off-site incineration services for 25,200 lbs. of microfilm records (16-mm microfilm reels, 4” film rolls, and 4” x 6” film sheets) that have met agency retention. The records contain personal identifiable information (PII) and must be destroyed to satisfy NIST 800-88 hard copy microform standards.
The 16 pallets of banded/shrink-wrapped records consist of 722 sealed, 1-cubic ft. corrugated boxes, that are ready for immediate pickup at the RCV dock located in Neosho, Missouri. The filmed images are administrative financial/payment records from the 1950s through the 1990s. The plastic and paper boxes and sleeves containing individual microfilm reels and sheets must be burned with the film.
