Pre-Solicitation Notice
For the Procurement of High Efficiency Gas Adsorbers (HEGA) Filters
This is a pre-solicitation Notice for the United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM CBC) to provide High Efficiency Gas Adsorbers (HEGA) filters, sizes 16”, 18”, and 24” depths.
The solicitation will be issued in accordance with the procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.
The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted electronically on the Contract Opportunities website at www.sam.gov on or about May 20, 2025, and will establish a firm quote due date/time. The RFP number will be W91ZLK-25-R-A002. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will ONLY be available on this site. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Specialist at lenard.b.wright.civ@army.mil. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
The RFP will be issued as Unrestricted.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 333413 – Industrial and Commercial Fan and Blower and Air Purification Equipment Manufacturing. The size standard is 500 employees.
All responsible sources are invited to submit a proposal which shall be considered by ACC-APG. Proposals submitted in response to the RFP must comply with all instructions and evaluation criteria detailed in the solicitation document.
Interested offerors must ensure they have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov prior to submission of a proposal.
This notice does not oblige the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any quotes or proposal preparation costs. The Government is not obligated to issue solicitation because of this notice. No other information is available until the issuance of the solicitation.
