Participation in this solicitation is limited to prequalified contractors only. Do NOT submit if you are not on the current Pre-approved/Pre-qualified Vendor list.
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: services in this contract to provide for a linear fuel break to include wildland fire hazard reduction by mechanically removing/shredding standing live and dead pinyon and juniper trees, saplings, and brush with a wheeled or tracked mechanical mulcher/shredder/masticator and
brush hog type mower. This task order includes the Contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. The project area totals approximately 722 acres.
Mandatory Site Visit: here will be no site visit for this project, it is strongly recommended that each potential bidder ensure that he/she has a complete understanding of the requirements of this project. Bidders are urged to inspect the site where services are to be performed and determine all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Project Performance Time: All work must take place between October 18, 2026, and December 15, 2026
Vendor must guarantee its pricing through completion of the project.
