The City of Warner Robins is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors capable of performing an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Water Meter Replacement Project. This is a citywide initiative aimed at upgrading outdated water meters with advanced, automated metering technology. This effort will enhance the accuracy of water usage readings, reduce manual labor, and provide residents with real-time data to better manage their water consumption. By modernizing the metering infrastructure, the city is investing in long-term sustainability, operational efficiency, and an improved customer service experience.
Details regarding project scope, specifications, and bidding requirements are provided in Attachment #1 (26-U-4765 AMI Water Meter Replacement Project RFP).
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on March 25, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.(ET) in the Carolyn Robbins Conference Room in City Hall (700 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31093). To remain eligible for potential award, at least one representative from the respective contractor must be in attendance promptly at the start of the meeting and remain present for the duration of the meeting.
Proposals will be accepted via the City’s online procurement system, IonWave, until April 9, 2026, at 2:00 P.M.(ET). Proposals submitted via mail, hand delivery, fax, or any alternative method will not be accepted.
Contractors are encouraged to submit questions for clarification or additional information relating to RFP specifications or solicitation requirements. All questions must be submitted via IonWave by April 1, 2026, by 2:00 P.M.(ET).
Submission of a proposal shall constitute acknowledgement and acceptance of all terms, conditions, and addenda to this solicitation.
