Description

NOTE: Work is to be performed at Depot at 6810 Loisdale Rd., Springfield, VA 22150. Also -



The Publications Depot has a requirement to fill approximately 450 orders each order containing up to 20 boxes per shipment of Water Safety Material publications/materials. Items are all pulled from Depot stock located on pallets or shelfs throughout the warehouse. Items are loaded onto a packer’s cart brought back to the weighing and labeling station and prepared for shipment. (Stations and warehouse will be Cleaned as needed for safety), each box is then moved to the weighing and labeling room, then weighed and labeled using a FedEx label machine using the order Number on the order sheet. The boxes are then moved to a pallet, then the pallet is moved to the loading dock at a time designated by the POC. All Orders to be completed within a 30-day period. Large order’s preparation for shipment Can take up to but no more than 1.5 hour to complete depending on the size of the order, Smaller Orders to be completed sooner. Limited MHE use may be required (such as the use of a floor or pallet jack, hand truck, or forklift).

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.603 – Streamlined Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and FAR Part 13 procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.



This acquisition is being solicited as a small business set-aside. This procurement will be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All questions must be received by Wednesday, 10 September 2025 6PM EST. Email questions and quotes to the Contract Specialist, Rick Klein, at Richard.C.Klein@usace.army.mil. The Government intends to award a contract without discussions with respective offerors. Besides a price quote, offerors must give evidence of technical capability to do same or simliar work, and provide 2 references for such.
