Building Inspection Services

The City of Pasadena Planning and Community Development Department, Building & Safety Division is seeking the services of qualified professional consulting firms to provide on-call Building Inspection Services on an as-needed basis as outlined in this RFP. The successful Consultant will be responsible for conduction of building inspections for public and private development projects including, but are not limited to, commercial, residential and mixed-use projects, in compliance with the California Building Code Standards, Pasadena Municipal Code, and all other State, local, and applicable laws. The consultant must have significant experience and knowledge in building construction and building codes.

The City has a core staff of City employees for plan review, permitting and field inspections. Due to significant increase in construction activity, the City seeks to meet existing inspection demands with contracted on-call building inspection services that will supplement existing capacity on an as-needed basis. Building inspection services would be performed on an as-need hourly basis.
