In addition, the microscope will also enable fluorescence imaging to detect Renibacterium salmoninarum, the causative agent of bacterial kidney disease. Although the primary purposes of the microscope are for histology and fluorescence imaging, the scope will also be shared resource with the Otolith and Aging labs. |
