Project Description: Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services is launching a community-based initiative to address problematic sexual behavior (PSB) in children ages 3–14, using the evidence-based PSB-CBT™ model developed by the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and supported by NCSBY. The program provides coordinated, trauma-informed care. Its goals are to reduce PSB through family-focused treatment, support caregivers with education and tools, strengthen families by addressing trauma, divert youth from deeper system involvement, and promote healing and resilience. This initiative reflects a proactive investment in the safety and well-being of Montgomery County’s children and families.
