SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD. This Notice is to announce that the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, hereby announces its notice of intent to procure services with JD Power and Associates, on a sole source basis.The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) is to procure a non-personnel services contract, to provide an annual subscription service for the J.D. Power National Pharmacy Study. This subscription will include online access to the J.D. Power Business Center. Data will include results and survey details for all channels, companies, and Brands for comparison of VA and CMOP to other private sector pharmacies. VA and CMOP have participated in the J.D. Power National Pharmacy Study since 2009 to validate Veteran Care is among the best in key factors to include cost competitiveness; prescription delivery; prescription ordering and customer service. VA and CMOP use this data to identify areas that have changed positively or negatively based on the historical data from the previous year. Most importantly, this subscription provides a direct comparison between Government pharmacy services and with large, well-known pharmacies in the private sector.
