This requirement is for the purchase of (1) Flygt Submersible Pump Part Number: PL7020.090 manufactured by Xylem. The pump will be used to lift sludge collection from the secondary clarifiers to be returned to the treatment process at the Wastewater Treatment Facility. This was awarded as a sole source to Brown & Morrison because they are the only authorized distributor of Flygt pumps in North Carolina, and it was an urgent and compelling requirement.
