THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This pre-solicitation notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the synopsis. It does not constitute as a solicitation for bid or quotes, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2).
The PHNSY & IMF indents to solicit to Defense Maritime Solutions to provide assistance for cleaning, inspection, and repair support for the Propulsor 1A and Leading Edge Ring onboard a Virginia-Class Submarine.
In accordance with DFARS PGI 206-302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-24-Q-0044 was posted to the U.S. Government Point of Entry (GPE), SAM.gov from 9 April 2024 - 11 April 2024 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government did not receive any responses to the sources sought posting. This pre-solicitation does not constitute as a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-24-Q-0044 and in accordance with FAR 5.204.
A solicitaiton is expected to be posted on or about 12 April 2024.
