Description

This project is to restore the rooms of the Naval Reserve Center St. Louis that were damaged by roof leaks and long term malfunctioning of the mechanical systems in the main building. The total size of the facility is approximately 74,669 square feet, of which approximately one third to one half of the building areas sustained damage from leaks and organic growth.



The contractor shall perform a detailed survey fo the facility to determine the full extent of damage and any hazardous materials. Based on the results of the survey, they shall develop the procedures and plan for cleaning and sanitizing the impacted areas, demolishing damaged materials, and restoring the facility to its previous condition. Work includes, but is not limited to, restoration and/or replacement of damaged drywall, insulation, ceiling tiles, HVAC registers, duct and piping insulation, mounted window coverings, flooring, wall base, painting and other components as determined by the survey. Deterioated fixtures, furniture, and equipment will be cleaned and/or replaced in kind within the impacted areas.
