Description
Pre-Solicitation Notice: The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region, NEKOTA Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to solicit for services to remove and replace carpet at Wind Cave National Park located in Hot Springs, South Dakota. The acquisition will be conducted using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NPS intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Commercial Services contract in response to the RFQ. This is the preliminary notice of a solicitation that will follow.

Project Description:
This project will remove and replace approximately 14,000-15,000 sq ft of commercial grade high traffic carpet tile in the Visitor Center Administration Building (VC). This project will include all designated office and visitor use areas such as public use areas that currently have carpet on upper and lower VC levels, including one area that does not have carpet. This project will include the removal of the current carpet tiles and rubber cove base. Contractor shall provide carpet tile for all flat surfaces and install according to industry standards using premium acrylic-based pressure sensitive adhesive specifically designed for carpet tile installation. The specific requirements will be available in the solicitation that will follow.

The specific date and time responses are due will be announced in the solicitation that will follow this notice.
